What makes Sports Zone Express different from other travel baseball programs?
The Sports Zone Express program is a developmental program that is designed to help players excel in high school and move on
to play collegiate baseball. The Express has three major advantages over other travel baseball programs; Coaching Staff, Winter
Program and a Professional Approach on Game Day.
1. Coaching Staff - No other organization can match the baseball knowledge in out organization. The Express have three
ex-professional baseball players that run the organization. The Express have four professional players that spend their
off-season working with the players, bringing back the newest mechanics and techniques taught at the Major League level. The
Express have a former Division I baseball coach who works with our players and teaches them the proper fundamentals being
taught at the collegiate level.
2. Winter Program - Many organizations have a solid winter program but what makes ours different is our organized practices
and top notch instruction. Patrick Cutshall (Houston Astros), Sam Dimatteo (Independent League) Rich Pasquale (Youngstown
State Coach) & Chad Oberacker (Oakland A's) work with the hitters. Jory Coughenour (Houston Astros), Nate Nery
(Baltimore Orioles) & Adam Liberatore (Tampa Bay Rays) work with the pitchers. WE DO NOT HAVE ANY PARENTS
GIVING ADVICE OR INSTRUCTING OUR PLAYERS!! Why do parents pay money to play for an organization where a
parent of another kid is coaching the team?
3. Excellent Game Day Management - The Express program institutes a consistent warm-up program, throwing program
and pre-game regiment to prepare our players on game day. Our pitching staff have a pre-game throwing program, a pitch
count limit and a post game running program. Everything we teach is to prepare our players to play at a higher level.
What We Do
We coach and develop. We build teams that are part of a program that takes pride in how they conduct themselves on and off
the field.
What We Don't Do
We do not actively recruit and solicit players, we prefer that they find us through referrals and reputation. Our program has a
solid foundation and our player return rate is over 90% every year.
If your interested in our program, please fill out the Contact Us form and one of our staff will contact you.
